And doing a line of coke again wouldn't hurt, either. It seems our president has apparently forgotten his early years when smoking pot and snorting coke was something he found fun to do. He needs to be reminded of those happy days. So how else to do so but get back into the game? Maybe do it the same way he handled his beer summit. Get an acknowledged and experienced expert on both substances (I'm tanned, rested and ready, by the way, Mr. President), and head out to a nice spot in the Rose Garden and cop a buzz. And talk about how silly and stupid drug prohibition has become.

I'm on the road speaking for little money to small groups about the logic and timely nature of repealing drug prohibition. It is always fun, and the crowd usually gets me high when I'm done. There was a time when the merry pranksters at Disney paid athletes and other victorious folks to utter that sentence when asked how they'd celebrate the win. "I'm going to Disney World!" The phrase entered everyday conversations, eventually, like other catch phrases, becoming an ironic parody - 180 degrees from where it started. And it left popular conversation, as it had truly run its course.

However those involved in the medical marijuana movement may want to spin the closing of 160 California pot clubs, it is, in reality, a black eye for the movement. And it is part of a systematic backlash I have been predicting for some time. I take no special pleasure in being right, as I'm just one of many who saw this coming and believe medical marijuana is the wrong strategy for moving the drug debate forward.

Several publications, including HighTimes and The Washington Post, have reported on the sexcapades of Rob Kampia over at the Marijuana Policy Project (MPP). It seems, according to current and former MPP staffers, Rob Kampia, the co-founder and Executive Director of MPP, has used the organization as his personal harem. Back in August Rob had, what everyone agrees to be true, consensual sex with a subordinate. It occurred after a MPP after-hours get together at a local D.C. watering hole.
